Built as a ‘next generation hotel for true citizens of the world’, the 193 room property will feature 3 distinct dining concepts conceived by chef Jean-Sébastien Giguère of Coureur des Bois fame, Spa Humaniti, a tranquil 2,000 square foot spa featuring signature treatments conceived by local skincare guru to the stars, Jennifer Brodeur, a scenic rooftop pool, 2-storey state-of-the-art Hyper gym, a natural light-filled event space, and more.

CALL FOR HOSPITALITY ARTISANS

Among the new roles the hotel is currently seeking to fill is that of hospitality ‘Artisans’. The newly created role, unique to Humaniti Hotel, brings together the responsibilities of a concierge, front desk attendant, and bellman, and is designed to offer a seamless experience to guests from check-in through check-out.

According to the job description, the hotel is calling on expert Montreal insiders who love the city and want to provide memorable and personalized experiences. The posting states that responsibilities will include greeting guests upon arrival, offer personalized suggestions on the many attractions and experiences offered in Montreal, work proactively to personalize the stay of every guest, and ensure fluidity of service offered with the various departments of the hotel.

“We’re looking for passionate people who are committed to anticipating the needs of our guests and showcasing the hidden gems and best kept secrets of Montreal,” says Mathieu Larochelle, Humaniti Hotel’s General Manager. “Our ideal candidates will not only have excellent communication and customer service skills, they should also love tourism, and be super passionate about our city.”

HARD HIT HOSPITALITY SECTOR

According to a new report by Destinations Canada released this week, tourism is directly linked to one in 10 Canadian jobs.  However, a staggering half a million people in the tourism industry across Canada lost their jobs in 2020 when the pandemic hit, the report states. In addition to hiring for dozens of roles within the hotel, the new Humaniti Hotel will be working with local, independent businesses across the city to showcase Montreal's unique culture to visitors from across the province and Canada, and eventually around the world when tourism resumes.
Humaniti Hotel is the first Autograph Collection hotel in Montreal. Known for celebrating boutique hotels that are unique in design and thoughtful in spirit, Autograph Collection is an extraordinary compilation of independent hotels around the world, each crafted to leave a vivid imprint.

If this sounds like your dream job, and you have three years of customer service experience and are bilingual, check out the job description to learn more https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/2477991211/.
