He acts as a strategic business partner to the General Manager in supporting the hotel’s financial performance and overall&nbsp;objectives.&nbsp;</p><p class="text-node">&nbsp;</p><p class="text-node"><strong>What you will do:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Support, mentor, and develop the finance team.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Maintain close relationships with hotel owners and internal/external&nbsp;auditors and&nbsp;ensure that all agreed-upon recommendations are acted upon effectively.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Assist the General Manager in&nbsp;establishing&nbsp;policies, procedures, internal controls, and safeguards.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Consistently deliver&nbsp;a very high&nbsp;standard of financial reporting and analysis, internal control compliance, and corporate governance,&nbsp;always ensuring integrity and accuracy.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ensure that all checks are signed only by authorized parties, that positive pay and payee positive pay are in place on all bank accounts (where applicable), and that source documents are approved by a Group B member.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ensure the preparation of a comprehensive monthly report covering&nbsp;all of&nbsp;the hotel’s financial results, in the formats&nbsp;established&nbsp;by the company and&nbsp;in accordance with&nbsp;generally accepted&nbsp;accounting principles (GAAP).&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Continuously strive to improve processes and efficiency.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Monitor, control, and record all hotel sales, purchases, payroll, and expenses.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Closely&nbsp;monitor&nbsp;and effectively manage labor costs; efficiently plan vacations and ensure&nbsp;appropriate service&nbsp;levels are&nbsp;maintained&nbsp;in compliance with labor standards, while minimizing overtime. Requirements
