Club Med in Mont-Tremblant: A New Chapter for Quebec Tourism
An ambitious project was first conceived in June 2025
The idea of creating a Club Med village on the Versant Soleil side of Mont-Tremblant began to take shape in spring 2025, when Club Med, together with Station Mont-Tremblant and the Brivia Group, entered discussions to develop a high-end, all-inclusive hotel property.
This project is designed as a four-seasons tourist hub with approximately 300 rooms and about 80 staff units, aiming for harmonious integration with the natural landscape and a strong ecological focus (targeting certifications such as BREEAM and Green Globe).
🌟 From the outset, the goal was clear: to offer Mont-Tremblant a premium accommodation product that complements the existing hotel supply and strengthens the destination’s international appeal.
Project Confirmation and Opening
Club Med has officially announced that the new Club Med Tremblant village will open in December 2028. Located in one of Quebec’s most popular mountain destinations, this four-season resort will deliver an all-inclusive experience combining comfort, adventure and well-being for families, couples and outdoor enthusiasts.
Here’s what is currently known about the guest experience:
- ⛷️ Ski-in / ski-out access with included lift tickets, ideal for winter sports lovers.
- 🪵 Architecture and design inspired by modern alpine chalets, warm and inviting.
- 🚵🏻 Varied year-round activities including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, and water sports on nearby lakes.
- 🧖 Well-being and relaxation facilities, including spa and dedicated wellness zones.

The resort is part of Club Med’s North American expansion strategy, following the success of Club Med Québec Charlevoix: the latter welcomed over 130,000 visitors in four years, demonstrating the strong demand for all-inclusive offerings in the province.
Impact on Mont-Tremblant Tourism
Club Med’s arrival in Mont-Tremblant aligns with the province’s tourism trends that emphasize immersive experiences, convenience and high-quality service offerings.
• Job creation: the project is expected to generate nearly 600 direct and indirect jobs, boosting the regional economy.
• Enhanced attractiveness: a premium all-inclusive product will draw new — including international — visitors.
• Multiplier effect: increased visitation will benefit local businesses, restaurants and cultural events.
The opening of Club Med in Mont-Tremblant in December 2028 will reinforce the region’s reputation as one of Quebec’s tourism gems. With a sustainable vision and a high-end positioning, this development will help make Mont-Tremblant a preferred destination for decades to come.
