<p class="text-node"><em>The Reception department has the first and last contact with the guest and plays a key role in guest loyalty</em></p><p class="text-node"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p class="text-node"><strong>Job Description: Your tasks will include:</strong></p><p class="text-node">Meeting and greeting RESIDENTS and their guests and/or employees</p><p class="text-node">Escorting RESIDENTS and their guests and/or employees to their RESIDENCES while carrying their luggage and packages;</p><p class="text-node">Answering various questions from RESIDENTS;</p><p class="text-node">Assisting RESIDENTS during check-out and carrying luggage;</p><p class="text-node">Being fully aware of the activities offered by the hotel</p><p class="text-node">Helping keep the lobby and other common areas clean and orderly;</p><p class="text-node">Maintaining the confidentiality of RESIDENTS and ensuring their safety;</p><p class="text-node">Replacing the doorman as needed</p><p class="text-node">Providing assistance or substituting for the concierge as needed</p><p class="text-node">Working all 4 shifts, including night shifts</p><p class="text-node">Performing all other tasks as needed</p><p class="text-node">Providing courteous, attentive, and friendly service</p><p class="text-node">&nbsp;</p><p class="text-node">&nbsp;</p><p class="text-node"><strong>Skills and Requirements:</strong></p><p class="text-node">Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, and</p><p class="text-node">night shifts;</p><p class="text-node">Having experience in a similar position in a luxury establishment</p><p class="text-node">Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of a third language will be considered</p><p class="text-node">a plus;</p><p class="text-node">Having a good knowledge of the city of Montreal and its surroundings;</p><p class="text-node">Following and adhering to the guidelines and standards of the Ritz-Carlton RESIDENCES;</p><p class="text-node">Being motivated and in excellent physical shape, working under pressure, showing initiative, working as a team</p><p class="text-node">and assisting each other;</p><p class="text-node">Must be able to stand or walk for long periods or throughout the shift</p><p class="text-node">of work</p><p class="text-node">Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects</p><p class="text-node">Uniform and appearance must be very neat at all times;</p><p class="text-node">Calm, polite, patient, smiling, and flexible while being diplomatic and discreet;</p><p class="text-node">Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally with RESIDENTS</p><p class="text-node">their guests and/or employees and any other visitors to the RESIDENCES;</p><p class="text-node">Adapting to a diverse clientele and providing exceptional quality service;</p><p class="text-node">Reports to: the Director of the RESIDENCES and to the Assistant Director of the RESIDENCES</p>
