Status: Part-time

Salary: From $24.50 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience

Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, the Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's front desk and leading and supporting the receptionist team to ensure high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise front desk activities, including check-ins, check-outs, guest special requests, and reservations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, addressing their inquiries, and professionally resolving any issues.
  • Guide, train, and mentor the front desk team, ensuring adherence to service standards and hotel policies.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and effective problem resolution.
  • Handle guest complaints proactively and reactively to ensure satisfaction during and after their stay.
  • Ensure compliance with check-in and check-out procedures, as well as security and confidentiality policies.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as compiling reports, maintaining records, and managing billing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.

Requirements:

  • College diploma in Hospitality Management (an asset).
  • Experience in hotel front desk operations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities and the capability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle delicate situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems and computer tools.
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures in the hospitality industry.

Languages: Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written is required for this position as we serve an international client.
