<p class="text-node">The <strong>Staybridge Suites Montreal Airport – Saint-Laurent</strong> is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and highly motivated <strong>Senior Sales</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> to lead the hotel's sales efforts and drive revenue growth across all market segments. Reporting directly to the <strong>General Manager</strong> and the <strong>Regional Director of Sales</strong>, the Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall hotel profitability.</p><p class="text-node">The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, cultivating long-term client relationships, increasing market share, and representing the hotel within the local business community. This position requires a proactive sales professional who thrives on prospecting, networking, conducting outside sales calls, and delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with IHG brand standards and company policies.</p><p class="text-node"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Report directly to the <strong>General Manager</strong> and <strong>Regional Director of Sales</strong>, providing weekly updates on sales performance, market trends, production, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Identify, solicit, negotiate, and secure new corporate, government, group, crew, sports, SMERF, and <strong>extended-stay business</strong> through proactive sales efforts.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Conduct outside sales calls, cold calls, networking events, client appointments, site inspections, and local sales blitzes to generate new business opportunities.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts while continuously seeking opportunities to grow account production.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Manage all sales activities using the hotel's CRM and sales systems, ensuring all client interactions, bookings, lost business, and follow-up activities are accurately documented.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Represent the hotel at industry trade shows, association meetings, networking events, chamber functions, and community activities to increase market awareness.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Conduct property tours and sales presentations that effectively communicate the hotel's features, amenities, and value proposition.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Negotiate group contracts and ensure all agreements are completed accurately and in accordance with company policies.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Coordinate and detail group requirements, including Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), with clients and internal departments to ensure successful event execution.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Conduct pre-convention and post-event meetings with clients to ensure expectations are met and identify future business opportunities.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Work closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless communication and exceptional guest satisfaction throughout each group's stay.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Collaborate with Revenue Management to identify opportunities to maximize room revenue while maintaining strategic account relationships.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Attend hotel receptions, client appreciation events, and promotional functions to generate leads and strengthen client relationships.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Participate in weekly revenue, sales, and operations meetings, providing detailed updates on business development activities and pipeline performance.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, company policies, and all applicable health, safety, and employment regulations.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Perform additional duties as assigned by Upper Management.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>
