Job description

<p class="text-node"><strong>Groupe Sacrée Soirée</strong> is looking for a <strong>SOUS-CHEF de cuisine H/F</strong> for one of its establishments in <strong>Montréal</strong> for a temporary assignment of <strong>10 weeks</strong>.</p><p class="text-node"><strong>🟡 Dates</strong> : as soon as possible - until the end of September 2026</p><p class="text-node"><strong>🟡 Location</strong> : downtown Montreal hotel (<em>near a metro station</em>)</p><p class="text-node"></p><p class="text-node">In collaboration with the Executive Chef or the Head Chef, the Sous-chef ensures the operation of culinary operations and contributes to maintaining quality standards.</p><h3 class="heading-node"><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Assist the Chef in planning, organizing, and supervising daily kitchen operations.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Supervise, coach, and support the kitchen team during shifts.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to established recipes and standards.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Delegate tasks among team members and ensure efficient priority management.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain a clean, safe work environment compliant with hygiene and food safety standards (MAPAQ).</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Replace the Head Chef in their absence and ensure continuity of operations.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Promote a positive work environment based on collaboration, respect, and communication.</p></li></ul><h3 class="heading-node"><strong>Working Conditions</strong></h3><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Meals included during shifts</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Uniform provided/laundered - but please bring your own safety shoes and knives</p></li><li><p class="text-node"><em>Compensation</em> : starting at $38/hour</p></li><li><p class="text-node"><em>Work schedule</em> : full-time - variable hours - possibility of evenings and weekends<br></p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p><p class="text-node"></p>

Requirements
