Job description

Remote (Canada) | Full-Time | EST +/- 2 hour

You live in Lighthouse, Duetto, IDeaS — or Pricelabs. The tool doesn't matter; the craft does. You know what a healthy pickup curve looks like, you've defended a price floor in a market downturn, and you've sat across the table from an owner or a GM who thought their RevPAR was bad luck and not bad pricing. You're tired of running someone else's playbook on someone else's portfolio.

About New Living

New Living is a well-funded joint venture backed by leading hospitality partners. We're building a platform for short-term and mid-term rental operators and luxury branded residences — connecting them with tools and services that actually work together — because right now, most of the industry runs on duct tape between their PMS, channel manager, pricing tool, and OTA dashboards. Our team is small, moves fast, and uses AI and automation across the platform. We're growing quickly and need someone who can own the revenue craft end-to-end — from the first onboarding call to the monthly strategy review twelve months later.

The Role

This is a hybrid role by design — we're a small team and we hire people who like wearing two hats well. You'll own the full commercial side of the customer journey: building and running the onboarding for every new property manager that joins the platform, then owning the ongoing revenue strategy across that portfolio. You'll work side-by-side with our Customer Success Manager — they own the relationship and the day-to-day; you own the numbers, the pricing strategy, and whether each property actually hits its potential.

Onboarding is where most of the value is won or lost. We have an onboarding process today — your job is to make it sharper, faster, and more consistent. You'll own the deck, run the kickoff, configure the tools, set the strategy — and then you'll stay close enough to the portfolio to make sure the strategy survives contact with reality.

What You'll Do

Onboarding (own it end-to-end)

Take our existing onboarding deck and playbook to the next level — streamline the flow, sharpen the materials, cut the steps that don't earn their keep

Run new-property kickoffs: discovery on the owner's goals and constraints, comp set selection, market analysis

Configure Pricelabs from scratch for each new portfolio: base prices, min stays, seasonality, occupancy-based rules, custom market data layers, orphan day rules, last-minute discounts

Stand up the listings properly: titles, photo ordering, descriptions, amenities, ranking levers across Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com

Set the channel mix and distribution strategy from day one

Ongoing revenue management

Own portfolio-wide pricing health — pickup, pacing, RevPAR vs market, identify and fix underperformers

Run weekly internal revenue reviews and monthly strategy calls with property managers — bring the data, walk them through the story

Drive the direct-booking strategy: rate parity, promos, retargeting, owner-site conversion

Spot what's working in one portfolio and propagate it across others

Partner with the Customer Success Manager on QBRs and renewal conversations — you bring the numbers, they bring the relationship

Feed pricing and distribution insights back into the product roadmap so we build the right tools

Requirements

What We're Looking For

5+ years in revenue management — hotel, STR, or both. We genuinely don't mind which side you're coming from

Power user of a serious revenue management system: Pricelabs, Lighthouse (OTA Insight), Duetto, IDeaS, RevControl, Wheelhouse, Beyond, or equivalent. We run on Pricelabs; if you don't know it yet, we'll get you up to speed fast — the craft transfers

Familiarity with a PMS or CRS — STR side: Guesty, Hostaway, Streamline, Track. Hotel side: Opera, Mews, Cloudbeds, SiteMinder. Doesn't have to be ours, just has to be one you've actually used

You've built or substantially rewritten an onboarding process before — not just executed someone else's

Genuinely good talking to customers — you can lead a kickoff, defend a pricing decision to a skeptical owner, and run a strategy review without hiding behind a deck

Numerate and structured — you can build a comp set from scratch, explain why occupancy at 95% is a problem, and walk an owner through pickup data without losing them

Excellent written and spoken English

Based in Canada with legal eligibility to work here

Bonus points for any of:

STR or vacation-rental experience layered on top of a hotel-RM background (or vice versa) — you've already seen both worlds

Experience launching or running direct-booking websites

Branded-residency or serviced-apartment exposure

Built dashboards, not just consumed them

What We Offer

$95–110K CAD base salary, with room above for an exceptional candidate

Up to 10% annual performance bonus tied to company growth milestones

Stock options in a well-funded, growing company

Fully remote — work from anywhere in Canada, EST +/- 1 hour ideally

Real ownership of the revenue function from day one — this isn't a role where you'll be running someone else's playbook

Clear growth path as the team scales — Head of Revenue is the next stop

How to Apply

Send your resume and a quick note about why this role interests you to jobs@new.living. Keep it real — we'd rather hear what you actually think than a polished cover letter. Bonus if you tell us about a pricing call you got wrong and what you learned from it.
