<p class="text-node">Located in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles, this new boutique hotel is inspired by the 1920s and Montreal's art de vivre. Adjacent to the Place des Arts Metro station and close to the Palais des Congrès, the shops and boutiques on Ste-Catherine Street, and Old Montreal, the boutique hotel offers 143 spacious rooms, 5 conference rooms, a private dining room, an indoor pool, a hot tub, a dry sauna, a fitness room, a yoga studio, and two shops.</p><p class="text-node">This resort offers a complete culinary experience with its French bistro-style restaurant, a street-facing coffee counter, and a California-inspired lounge located on the 5th floor, featuring an impressive outdoor terrace that allows guests to experience the vibrancy of the neighborhood.</p><p class="text-node">ROLE</p><p class="text-node">Under the responsibility of the Sales Director, the Sales Manager's main roles include physical and telephone prospecting, analyzing markets and target customers, preparing proposals and contracts, developing sales reports, as well as achieving or exceeding the company's sales objectives.</p><p class="text-node">RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Target, solicit, and contract new accounts in specific market segments, such as corporate and group;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Position and promote the establishment and its services to the target clientele;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Make solicitation calls and conduct inspection visits to establish and maintain long-term business relationships;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Develop and maintain lasting business relationships with the target clientele;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Propose specific marketing actions to support market segments and develop existing accounts to meet or exceed sales targets;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Analyze supply, demand, and competition to propose sales strategies to different markets;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Enter, maintain, and update information in computer systems and ensure follow-up on files;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Participate in trade shows, external activities with clients, and undertake prospecting trips as needed;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain good business relationships among various tourism stakeholders and hotel professionals in Montreal including the Palais des Congrès de Montréal, Tourisme Montréal, etc.;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Prepare and write weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain the confidentiality of hotel information, including conversations, personal information, and guest records;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure customer satisfaction;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Comply with the standards of the establishment and RIMAP Hospitality;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Participate in the "manager on duty" program;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">All other related tasks.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node">Benefits&nbsp;:</p><p class="text-node"></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Dental Insurance</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Disability Insurance</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Supplementary Health Insurance</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Life Insurance</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Vision Insurance</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Paid Holidays</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Equal contribution to RRSP</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Employee Assistance Program</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Discounted Rates</p></li><li><p class="text-node">On-Site Parking<br></p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>

Requirements

<p class="text-node">SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">French and English spoken and written. Knowledge of a third language is an asset;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Proficient in Delphi and Opera software, an asset;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Experience working with the MS Office suite;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Passionate, enthusiastic, and committed;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Demonstrates superior abilities to develop and maintain a network of contacts;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Must have excellent presentation, good articulation, and strong interpersonal skills to meet the expectations of a corporate and diverse clientele;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Attentive and dedicated to the clientele;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Inspiring personality and comfortable working in a team;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Detail-oriented and structured work approach;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Strong negotiation and prospecting skills;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Exhibit a high level of professionalism and have a good deal of social skills;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Flexibility in work hours and availability for clients when required.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node">Education and Experience&nbsp;:</p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">College degree in hospitality management or another related professional field;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Minimum of 3 years of experience as a sales manager in the hospitality industry.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node">Job Type: Full-time</p>
