Job description

Location: 3125 Bd Hochelaga, Quebec, QC G1W 2P9

Status: Full-time (temporary replacement, duration undetermined)

Salary: Starting at $52,000 per year + participation in the sales incentive plan

Immediate Supervisor: Director of Operations until the end of the maternity leave of the Director of Sales & Marketing

We are currently looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator who is passionate about hospitality and has a strong sense of customer service, in order to actively contribute to the visibility and commercial performance of our hotel.

Job Description:

  • Organize and lead coordination meetings with all hotel departments.

  • Prepare proposals, contracts, function sheets, and room layouts.

  • Create event signage using a professional tool.

  • Support the sales team in daily client file management (groups, corporate, events, etc.).

  • Coordinate, plan, and organize events and room blocks sold across all markets, anticipating client needs.

  • Serve as a point of contact for clients before, during, and after their event.

  • Promote and sell hotel products and services to current clients and by reaching out to past clients.

  • Organize site visits with regular clients and ahead of events.

  • Potential to represent the hotel, the Wyndham chain, and Tidan Group at trade shows and events.

  • Contribute to the updating and monitoring of marketing tools (website, social media, newsletters, promotional campaigns).

  • Help produce promotional materials and develop strategies to increase the hotel’s visibility.

  • Contribute to the retention of existing clients.

  • Meet and exceed ancillary sales objectives aligned with our action plan.

  • All other related tasks.

Skills:

  • Degree in hospitality management, tourism, marketing, or event planning.

  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written, French and English).

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Organizational skills, thoroughness, autonomy, and results-oriented mindset.

  • Team spirit and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Proficient in office tools and familiar with social media platforms.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

  • Bilingualism (French/English) required, spoken and written, due to our international clientele.

  • Availability for occasional travel (client visits, trade shows).
