<h2>WHAT YOU WILL DO</h2>
<p>Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Director, you will oversee daily operations across the hotel’s various food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, banquets, in-room dining, lounge bar, and Café counter.</p>
<p>Your main responsibilities will include:</p>
<p><strong>Supervising Operations and Teams:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Lead and support service teams on the floor for the restaurant, banquets, in-room dining, lounge bar, and Café counter;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to performance indicators for the department;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure operational and administrative needs are effectively addressed;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Assist in preparing employee schedules in compliance with the collective agreement;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Support the Food and Beverage Director in various operational and administrative tasks;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Participate in developing and implementing action plans for different periods of the year.</p>

</ul>
<p><strong>Delivering an Exceptional Guest Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Ensure procedures and service standards of the establishment are followed on a daily basis;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Act as a leader and positive role model for team members;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Handle guest requests and complaints promptly, professionally, and courteously;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain thorough knowledge of all products offered, including dishes, wines, beers, and spirits;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure guest expectations are exceeded and that RIMAP Hospitality and Holiday Inn standards are upheld.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Ensuring Coordination and Compliance:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Plan and organize departmental meetings;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Enforce hygiene and safety policies related to food and beverage handling, in accordance with MAPAQ requirements;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Participate in various hotel committees;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures and operations;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Perform any other related tasks as assigned by management.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p>This is a variable-schedule position that may require working days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure, sometimes for extended hours, depending on operational needs and the tourist season.</p>
<h2>WHAT YOU WILL BRING</h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>A minimum of three years of experience in the food and beverage industry, including supervisory and management experience;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience as a manager in a high-volume restaurant establishment;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience in a unionized hotel, an asset;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>A diploma from a hospitality school or training in restaurant management, an asset;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Mobilizing leadership, autonomy, and a strong sense of initiative;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Proficiency with computer software;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>A strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>High schedule flexibility, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to remain calm, courteous, and attentive to guest needs at all times.</p>
