Job description

Vogue Hôtel Montréal, an iconic establishment in the heart of downtown, is seeking a creative, passionate, and results-driven Marketing & Communications Manager to carry its vision, strengthen its brand image, and lead innovative campaigns. Within a dynamic, upscale environment, the role aims to highlight the Vogue’s signature experience, grow its local and international reputation, and design inspiring activations that reflect the hotel’s elegance and energy.

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in the visibility and commercial success of the hotel. Acting as a vital link between the sales, marketing, and operations teams, this person ensures smooth communication, excellent client follow-up, and consistent brand representation.

By supporting both sales initiatives and marketing campaigns, this role directly contributes to achieving revenue goals, guest satisfaction, and positioning the Vogue Hotel Montreal Downtown as a leading name in the luxury hospitality market.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Management

  • Development of the annual marketing plan: strategic pillars, target segments (corporate, leisure, local, business tourism), seasonality, and KPIs

  • Full management of the marketing budget: allocation, monthly tracking, adjustments, and reporting.

  • Annual planning of activations (seasonal highlights, F1 Grand Prix, Montréal events, internal key moments).

  • Regular reporting to the DOS (digital performance, ROI, social media, campaigns).

Digital Marketing & Performance

  • Daily monitoring of paid campaign performance (Google Ads, Meta Ads, OTAs): conversions, CPA, engagement, spend.

  • Ongoing optimization: bid adjustments, targeting, wording, pacing, and scheduling.

  • Management of OTA investments (Expedia Ads, Booking Ads, TripAdvisor): budget planning, conversion and revenue analysis.

  • Google Ads management (Search, Display, YouTube): keyword selection, ad creation, audience analysis, and profitability review.

  • Coordination of social ad campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok).

  • Continuous website updates + SEO optimization (Google Analytics & Search Console).

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Definition and implementation of Vogue’s editorial strategy.

  • Weekly production of photo/video content: restaurant, events, teams, ambiance, dishes.

  • Creation of authentic Reels showcasing daily hotel life.

  • Agency supervision: visual consistency, brand guidelines, retouching.

  • Analysis of social media performance (engagement, reach, follower growth) and continuous optimization.

  • Community management and moderation in collaboration with the agency.

Client Communication & CRM

  • Creation, writing (FR/EN), and distribution of newsletters: segmentation, scheduling, analysis of open/click rates.

  • Supervision and creation of QR codes in the rooms.

  • Coordination with operations and front desk to ensure consistency of guest information.

Visual Identity & Collateral

  • Supervision or creation of internal and external materials: posters, menus, POS, signage, brochures, screens.

  • Creation of urgent visuals (Canva/Adobe or other AI platforms).

  • Seasonal updates of all hotel signage and displays.

  • Development of branded products: guest gifts, amenities, uniforms.

Events, Activations & Partnerships

  • Design and coordination of major activations: F1 Grand Prix, Montréal en Lumière, etc.

  • Development of local partnerships (brands, artisans, cultural institutions).

  • Implementation of 360° communication plans: social media, PR, newsletters, signage.

  • PR follow-up: agency briefs, content validation, analysis of media coverage.

  • Organization of media/influencer stays: booking, hosting, visibility tracking.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Production of a full monthly report: web, social, campaigns, newsletters, PR/influencer.

  • Identification of improvement levers: budget reallocation, message optimization, new formats.

Internal Collaboration

  • Close collaboration with the Sales team and DOS (weekly meeting).

  • Participation in morning meetings (3x/week).

Skills and Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Diploma in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or Event Management.

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a similar role 

  • Languages: Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.

  • Computer Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Proficiency in Canva and all other AI programs
    • Familiarity with social media management and scheduling tools (LinkedIn and Instagram).
  • Organization and Accuracy: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and writing skills, with a professional and collaborative approach toward clients and colleagues.

  • Creativity: Creative mindset and strong eye for detail when developing marketing content or proposals.
