About the role:

The Marcus Lounge Manager plays a key leadership role in delivering a vibrant and personalized guest experience at Marcus Bar and Lounge. While ensuring the overall fluidity of service, this role is primarily focused on guest recognition, managing VIP clientele, overseeing the door and lounge ambiance, and driving engagement through loyalty initiatives and special Marcus events. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and service-driven professional who thrives in creating memorable guest interactions, builds strong team culture, and upholds the highest Four Seasons standards.

What you will do:

·       Ensure a vibrant and seamless guest experience at MARCUS Bar & Lounge by fostering an inviting and energetic atmosphere aligned with brand and Four Seasons standards;

·       Be highly present in the lounge environment, cultivating meaningful relationships with regular and VIP guests, while creating memorable moments for new clientele;

·       Anticipate guest needs with a personalized approach-making thoughtful recommendations and adding bespoke touches to enhance the overall experience;

·       Handle guest concerns or complaints with grace and professionalism, ensuring immediate resolution and long-term loyalty;

·       Collaborate with the Hotel Manager, Restaurant GM, Beverage Manager, Executive Chef and

·       Sous-Chefs to align menu concepts, beverage programs, and event initiatives with evolving guest expectations and current trends;

·       Contribute to revenue generation by identifying creative strategies that enhance guest spend and engagement, while remaining mindful of budget goals and cost awareness;

·       Play an active role in loyalty and recognition programs, ensuring high-value guests receive curated experiences and attentive service at every visit;

·       Review reservations daily to identify special requests, VIP guests, and group needs, coordinating with key stakeholders for seamless execution;

·       Lead, coach, and inspire the bar and lounge team through ongoing feedback, recognition, and development, fostering a strong service culture and sense of pride.

Requirements

What you bring:

·       Great communication skills in french, both oral and written

·       An advanced level of English is required to ensure oral and written communication with business partners, stakeholders, suppliers, and a predominantly international clientele.

·       Have good resistance to stress and manage it positively and effectively; 

·       Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with high business volume; 

·       Demonstrate a high team spirit; 

·       Interest and ability to provide outstanding service to our internal, external customers and our suppliers. Experience in managing Forbes standards; 

·       Maintain a professional appearance and behave in a mature manner and with integrity at all times, including outside the hotel while on business; 

·       Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment; 

·       Demonstrate creativity and initiative; 

·       Be comfortable to work long and irregular hours, and be available weekends and evenings; 

·       Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe and Microsoft Office

·       2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel environment;

·       Relevant experience in labour management within an unionized environment;

·       College diploma in hotel management, administration or related field.
