The Maintenance Manager is also responsible for all safety aspects of the various establishments, including compliance with fire protection and alarm systems.</span></p><p class="text-node"><span style="color: black;">Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Maintenance Manager's main responsibilities include:</span></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ensuring the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of facilities and infrastructures (plumbing, electricity, heating, air conditioning/HVAC, kitchen equipment, etc.) for each of the establishments of Épik Collection hotel group.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Responding to customer requests efficiently and professionally.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Managing the existing work team.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Communicating daily with related departments (reception, housekeeping, kitchen, etc.) to maximize customer satisfaction.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Establishing, applying, and rigorously respecting intervention procedures and processes in place, as well as prevention and safety procedures according to industry standards.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Regularly inspecting all locations and equipment and making any necessary corrections.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ordering tools and materials for the repair and maintenance of equipment while respecting the existing budgets. Routine expenses do not require justification, but any expense outside of operations must be pre-approved by management.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Contacting external suppliers when repairs cannot be directly performed by the maintenance team.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Coordinating and controlling renovation teams when applicable.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Managing and following up on service contracts with external suppliers, ensuring adherence to agreements, deadlines, and quality of services.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensuring compliance and proper functioning of all alarm and fire protection systems across all establishments; being the designated person for fire safety.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Simultaneously managing requests from multiple departments by establishing priorities with rigor, professionalism, and composure, even under pressure.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Actively participating in all maintenance or related tasks when necessary — the Maintenance Manager is primarily a hands-on player who rolls up their sleeves and cannot limit themselves to directing or delegating.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><span style="color: black;">The holder of the position shares their time evenly between administrative responsibilities and field activities. Approximately 50% of their time is dedicated to planning, tracking work, managing budgets, suppliers, and documentation, while the other 50% is dedicated to operational interventions, supporting teams, and responding to maintenance requests in the various establishments of the group.</span></p>
