The Maintenance Manager is also in charge of all safety aspects of the various establishments, including compliance with fire protection and alarm systems.</span></p><p class="text-node"><span style="color: black;">Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Maintenance Manager has the main responsibilities of:</span></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ensuring maintenance, upkeep, and repair of facilities and infrastructure (plumbing, electricity, heating, air conditioning/HVAC, kitchen equipment, etc.) for each establishment of the Épik Collection hotel group.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Responding to customer requests in an effective and professional manner.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Managing the current work team.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Communicating daily with related departments (front desk, housekeeping, kitchen, etc.) to maximize customer satisfaction.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Establishing, applying, and rigorously following intervention procedures and processes in place, as well as prevention and safety procedures according to industry standards,</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Regularly inspecting all premises and equipment and making any necessary corrections,</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ordering tools and materials for repair and maintenance of equipment while respecting existing budgets. Routine expenses do not require justification, but any expenditure outside operations must be pre-approved by management.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Contacting external suppliers when repairs cannot be carried out directly by the maintenance team.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Coordinating and controlling renovation teams when applicable.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Managing and ensuring follow-up on service contracts with external suppliers, ensuring compliance with agreements, deadlines, and quality of services.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensuring compliance and proper functioning of all alarm and fire protection systems in all establishments; acting as the designated fire safety officer.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Simultaneously managing requests from multiple departments by establishing priorities with rigor, professionalism, and composure, even under pressure.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Actively participating in all maintenance or related tasks when necessary—the Maintenance Manager is primarily a hands-on team player who gets involved and cannot limit themselves to directing or delegating.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>
