The company continues to expand its portfolio, including in downtown Ottawa.</p><p class="text-node">RIMAP’s properties shape the downtown Montreal skyline and include HONEYROSE – Montréal, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Hilton Garden Inn, Courtyard Marriott, Holiday Inn &amp; Suites, and AC Marriott Montreal.</p><h2 class="heading-node">Human Resources Director – AC Marriott Montreal</h2><p class="text-node">The Human Resources Director is responsible for overseeing all HR functions at the AC Marriott Montreal. Working closely with the General Manager and the leadership team, this role ensures the achievement of HR and administrative objectives while maintaining compliance with corporate policies, brand standards, and applicable labor laws.</p><h2 class="heading-node">Key Responsibilities</h2><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Advise and support managers on all HR matters, including workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Manage the full recruitment cycle (job postings, screening, interviews, hiring).</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Draft and update job descriptions and employment contracts.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Oversee onboarding and orientation of new employees.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Administer compensation and benefits in accordance with company policies.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Lead the performance management process.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Handle employee relations matters and disciplinary actions.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations (CNESST, labor standards, collective agreements).</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Participate in union meetings, including health and safety committees.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure the implementation and monitoring of workplace health and safety practices.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Participate in management meetings and the Manager on Duty (MOD) program.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Lead and contribute to various HR and operational projects.</p></li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Administrative Responsibilities</h2><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Manage and distribute internal mail.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Translate documents (French/English).</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Oversee employee lockers and parking allocations.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain emergency contact lists and administrative records.</p></li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Qualifications</h2><h2 class="heading-node">Requirements</h2><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">College or university degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or a related field.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Experience in hospitality is an asset.</p></li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Skills and Competencies</h2><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Demonstrated leadership and professionalism.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Excellent organizational and time management skills.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Knowledge of labor laws and unionized environments.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and sound judgment.</p></li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Working Conditions</h2><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Variable schedule based on operational needs.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Participation in the Manager on Duty (MOD) program.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Dynamic environment requiring flexibility and availability.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node">RIMAP is committed to employment equity and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
