Salary: Starting at $55,000 per year

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Junior Coordinator is responsible for tracking, documenting, and supporting the progress of various projects. The incumbent contributes to the smooth organization of activities while gaining exposure to the hotel environment and its specific operational realities. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and follow up on meetings: agendas, minutes, and action items.

Track requests from senior management and ensure deadlines are met.

Manage documentation and reporting: training materials, dashboards, and recurring reports.

Organize and maintain filing and record-keeping systems.

Manage emails and correspondence; prioritize and distribute communications.

Support project implementation: task tracking, coordination of teams and vendors.

Maintain and develop operational procedures (SOPs), change logs, and project documentation.

Coordinate renovation and design projects: monitor timelines, quotes, specifications, and samples.

Support revenue management initiatives: meetings, Opera/RMS data tracking, and implementation preparation.

Assist with social media management: content calendar, publications, and approvals.

Occasional travel to properties may be required.
Requirements:

Strong ability to coordinate operations and ensure follow-up on action items.

Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Proficiency in meeting support: preparing agendas, drafting minutes, and tracking action items.

Solid experience in documentation and systems management: SOPs, templates, change logs, and version control.

Ability to create and maintain dashboards and summary reports (Excel / Google Sheets).

Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and professional emails and follow up diplomatically.

Comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.

Knowledge or experience with hotel technologies and Opera/RMS system implementation.

Experience in financial administration, purchasing, or renovation/design project coordination is an asset.

A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are strongly preferred (or the ability to reliably travel between sites).
Experience
-
1 to 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry (front desk, sales coordination, administrative assistant, or similar role).

Related sectors may include property management, multi-site commercial operations, facilities projects, office or project administration, provided the candidate can quickly adapt to the pace of the hospitality industry.
Languages
Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written) is required in order to effectively serve an international clients.
