Job description
Le 9e Montreal is seeking hosts for the restaurant Île de France.
The host is responsible for welcoming guests into the establishment and providing attentive service upon arrival and departure. They are also responsible for managing reservations, communicating efficiently with wait staff/management, aiding support staff with clearing and resetting tables and other side duties. Applicants must be friendly and hardworking.
Requirements
Some other qualifications for hosts include:
- Bilingual
- Punctual
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality industry
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of Open Table, Resy, or other rerservation software is an asset
