Job description
Le 9e Montreal is seeking bartenders for the restaurant Île de France. Bartenders are responsible for ensuring service standards are always met and must provide attentive and memorable service in a timely manner. Among other tasks, they are responsible for preparing all drinks for service, setting up their MEP, doing inventory, being knowledgeable about spirits and wine in general as well as specific cocktail menu items. They are also expected to serve all guests dining at the bar and communicate effectively with all wait and support staff. Applicants must be friendly and hardworking.

- Bilingual
- Punctual
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience in food service and hospitality industry
- Knowledge of spirits, wine and cocktails
- Ability to manage inventory
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and work quickly
- High school diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of POS systems
