<p class="text-node"><strong>Confidential Employer – Hospitality Sector</strong></p><p class="text-node">A hotel establishment located in Montreal is seeking an experienced <strong>General Manager</strong> to ensure the overall management of its operations.</p><p class="text-node">This is a strategic position within an established hotel, offering a full operation including accommodation, food and beverage, banquets, sales, revenue management, guest experience, asset maintenance, and team mobilization.</p><p class="text-node">As part of a confidential organizational planning process, we wish to meet candidates capable of managing a complex hotel operation with rigor, leadership, and vision.</p><h2 class="heading-node">Job Summary</h2><p class="text-node">Reporting to ownership, the General Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the establishment, in terms of operations, finance, human resources, and commercial aspects.</p><p class="text-node">The ideal candidate will ensure a strong presence on the ground, support managers, maintain high standards of customer service, and actively contribute to the hotel's growth.</p><h2 class="heading-node">Key Responsibilities</h2><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ensure the complete daily management of the establishment.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Oversee the departments of accommodation, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, sales, and administration.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Optimize the financial performance of the hotel: revenue, expenses, profitability, budgets, and controls.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Work collaboratively with sales and revenue management to maximize occupancy, average rate, and total revenue.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, safety, and guest experience.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Engage, mentor, and develop members of the management team.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Participate in strategic planning, improvement projects, and the evolution of the hotel offering.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure compliance with internal policies, health and safety standards, as well as legal and regulatory obligations.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain effective communication with ownership and business partners.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Represent the establishment professionally to clients, employees, suppliers, and partners.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p><p class="text-node"></p>
