Your role in the team

Reporting to the manager on duty, the front desk agent acts as the first point of contact with customers. He ensures a warm and professional welcome, while ensuring the quality of the guest experience at every stage of the stay. This role involves working closely with the other departments of the hotel.

 

Tasks

  • Classify the business transactions carried out during the day;
  • Verify and correct transaction records and update hotel guest invoices;
  • Balance the accounts and close the cash registers of the various points of sale and the reception;
  • Produce and transmit daily income reports and other administrative reports;
  • Welcoming guests on arrival, checking booking details and offering additional services;
  • Obtain payment guarantees;
  • Provide information on the establishment, tourist attractions and activities in the region;
  • Make complete reservations and respond to requests for information and changes;
  • Receive mail or messages intended for customers and ensure their distribution;
  • Ensure the safety of customers and their property;
  • To process and follow up on customer comments and complaints;
  • Check out customers and check their satisfaction;
  • Use the communication tools provided and required by the hotel.

Requirements

Timetables

Availability during the day, evening, weekends and holidays. Flexibility and team spirit are essential.

Essential Skills

  • Fluency in French and English;
  • Ability to make monetary transactions;
  • Interest in customer service;
  • Intermediate overall fluency with computers, especially with Excel.
