Within Corner Collection’s independent hospitality environment, this role offers the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of the corporate and agency segments and directly impact the commercial performance of the portfolio.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Develop and manage a portfolio of local, national, and international corporate accounts aligned with the positioning and revenue objectives of Hôtel Nelligan and Hôtel Place d’Armes.
- Proactively prospect and secure new corporate negotiated accounts and agency relationships aligned with the hotels’ target markets and positioning.
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel planners, travel managers, procurement teams, executive assistants, and travel management companies (TMCs) that influence travel to Montreal.
- Manage the annual corporate RFP and negotiated rate process, working closely with Revenue Management to align negotiated rates with market demand and revenue strategy.
- Strengthen production from corporate travel agencies, luxury travel advisors, and consortia networks that influence business travel to Montreal.
- Conduct sales calls, agency visits, client meetings, site visits, and familiarization trips to strengthen market presence and drive bookings.
- Strategically manage accounts across both properties, ensuring the right business is placed at the right hotel to maximize portfolio revenue and long-term account value.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations to align sales initiatives with the hotels’ commercial strategy and ensure seamless execution for corporate clients.
- Communicate account production, booking patterns, and client feedback internally to support service alignment and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to generate incremental revenue across rooms, restaurants, meetings and events, and spa experiences, contributing to the broader hotel ecosystem.
- Maintain disciplined use of CRM systems, account tracking, and sales reporting, ensuring accurate documentation of account strategies and production performance.
- Leverage industry intelligence tools such as Agency360, consortia production reports, and internal performance data to analyze account production, identify growth opportunities, and refine sales strategies.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitor activity, and corporate travel patterns to support strategic decision-making.
- Commit to appropriate travel, networking, and industry participation to expand market relationships and strengthen Corner Collection’s presence in key travel markets.
