Job description
The Hospitality Coordinator provides day-to-day leadership to the Hospitality team in Montréal Ricoh facilities, ensuring exceptional client service for catering, events, and office support while meeting internal standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example with punctuality, professional uniform, and positive attitude to model company standards throughout shifts.
- Assign and verify tasks for Catering Assistants, including daily setups/clearups, floor stocking, boardroom checks, and timely completion.
- Conduct 1-2 daily spot checks on floors and boardrooms
- Oversee monthly inventory, and café menu updates.
- Check/filter catering-requests inbox regularly, hold daily meetings with coordinator, lead team huddles, print next-day reports.
- Coordinate events (e.g., happy hours, deep cleans) with Event Specialists, ensuring prompt food/beverage delivery.
- Serve as first point of contact for catering issues - escalate as needed
- Flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years in food service, catering, hospitality, or event planning; supervisory experience preferred.
Skills
- Strong food sanitation standards knowledge, fast-paced pressure handling with detail focus.
- Excellent coordination, organization, communication (verbal/written, French-English), problem-solving, multitasking, and adaptability.
- Service-oriented team player
- Proficient in Microsoft apps
- Flexible scheduling evenings/weekends.
