Job description

The Hospitality Coordinator provides day-to-day leadership to the Hospitality team in Montréal Ricoh facilities, ensuring exceptional client service for catering, events, and office support while meeting internal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example with punctuality, professional uniform, and positive attitude to model company standards throughout shifts.
  • Assign and verify tasks for Catering Assistants, including daily setups/clearups, floor stocking, boardroom checks, and timely completion.
  • Conduct 1-2 daily spot checks on floors and boardrooms
  • Oversee monthly inventory, and café menu updates.
  • Check/filter catering-requests inbox regularly, hold daily meetings with coordinator, lead team huddles, print next-day reports.
  • Coordinate events (e.g., happy hours, deep cleans) with Event Specialists, ensuring prompt food/beverage delivery.
  • Serve as first point of contact for catering issues - escalate as needed
  •  Flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma 
  • 2+ years in food service, catering, hospitality, or event planning; supervisory experience preferred.

 

Skills

  • Strong food sanitation standards knowledge, fast-paced pressure handling with detail focus.
  • Excellent coordination, organization, communication (verbal/written, French-English), problem-solving, multitasking, and adaptability.
  • Service-oriented team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft apps
  • Flexible scheduling evenings/weekends.
