Job description
Corner Collection, a privately owned hospitality company in the heart of Old Montreal, is seeking a highly organized and service-driven Conference Services Manager – Multi-property to support the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate group business across Hôtel Place d’Armes and Hôtel Nelligan.
Reporting to the Director of Events, this role is responsible for servicing all corporate group business following the sales handover, ensuring each program is delivered with precision, professionalism, and a high standard of service.
The Conference Services Manager also manages smaller corporate groups (0–9 room nights) and short-lead group opportunities within a 30-day booking window, handling both the sales and servicing of this segment.
Working closely with internal teams, this role ensures seamless event execution while enhancing the client experience and identifying upsell opportunities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and disciplined execution.
- Take ownership of corporate group programs following turnover from the Sales team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout planning and execution.
- Manage the full planning process, including schedules, room setups, audiovisual needs, and timelines.
- Prepare and maintain BEOs and group resumes, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
- Coordinate with Banquets, Culinary, Front Office, and other departments to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage and book smaller corporate groups (0–9 room nights) and short-lead group business within a 30-day window.
- Respond to client inquiries, prepare proposals, and confirm bookings for assigned segments.
- Identify upsell opportunities through event design, menu recommendations, and service enhancements.
- Welcome clients on-site and lead pre-event meetings to confirm details and ensure alignment.
- Oversee on-site execution, ensuring events are delivered to standard and client expectations are met.
- Proactively resolve operational challenges during events in coordination with internal teams.
- Manage room blocks, rooming lists, deposits, and billing accuracy.
- Maintain clear communication with all departments regarding event requirements and updates.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather feedback and support repeat business.

Requirements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in conference services, events, or group sales within a hotel or upscale venue environment.
- Experience managing corporate meetings or group programs within a hotel setting.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in event documentation and planning.
- Experience with hotel systems (Opera, OSEM or equivalent, Social Tables an asset).
- Service-driven mindset with a focus on execution and client experience.
- Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in fast-paced environments.
- Fully bilingual in French and English, as we serve an international and English-speaking clientele.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Authorization to work in Canada.
