<p class="text-node"><strong>Booking &amp; Guest Services Agent</strong> Ignatian Spirituality Centre of Montreal – Villa Saint-Martin, Pierrefonds, QC Full-time | $25/hour | Includes weekends</p><p class="text-node"><strong>About Us</strong></p><p class="text-node">The Ignatian Spirituality Centre of Montreal (ISCM) is a welcoming retreat centre offering spiritual renewal to individuals and groups of all faiths. Located at Villa Saint-Martin in Pierrefonds, we host silent retreats, addiction recovery programs, workshops, and more — stays of up to 8 days.</p><p class="text-node"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p class="text-node">This is a front-line, sales-minded role at the heart of our retreat centre's operations. As a Booking &amp; Guest Services Agent, you are the first voice groups hear and the key driver of occupancy. You will actively follow up on inquiries, convert them into confirmed bookings, manage contracts and payments, coordinate all group needs internally, and ensure every guest experience reflects our mission of compassionate, respectful service.</p><p class="text-node"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p class="text-node"><em>Bookings &amp; Sales</em></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Proactively follow up on group inquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Manage reservations in the Mews-Hotello hotel system and in-house database</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Negotiate and prepare group contracts aligned with client needs and ISCM's mission</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Track deposits, final payments, and outstanding balances</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Strategically plan centre occupancy to maximize capacity while respecting our mission</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Prioritize groups that align with ISCM's values and mission</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><em>Guest Experience &amp; Reception</em></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Welcome groups warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Register guests, allocate rooms, and accommodate special requests</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain a calm, organized, and respectful reception environment</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Act as the main point of contact for guests throughout their stay</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Handle guest concerns with discretion and care</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><em>Internal Coordination</em></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Communicate group meal, room setup, and housekeeping needs to team leads (kitchen, housekeeping, guest services)</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Prepare event orders and ensure all details are accurately documented</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Coordinate room allocations with housekeeping</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Support planning and logistics for retreats, programs, and special events</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><em>Administration &amp; Billing</em></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ensure accuracy of billing and guest accounts</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Handle cash transactions, maintain records, and ensure end-of-day balancing</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain organized documentation and generate basic reports</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Uphold privacy regulations and internal confidentiality policies</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Competitive salary: $25/hour</p></li><li><p class="text-node">3 weeks paid vacation from day one</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Full-time position</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><strong>To Apply</strong> Send your CV and cover letter to: <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="mailto:operation@csim-iscm.org">operation@csim-iscm.org</a></p>

Requirements

<p class="text-node"><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Sales mindset: ability to follow up, persuade, and close group bookings</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Fluency in spoken and written French and English</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Proficiency with computerized systems (Office Suite; Mews-Hotello or ability to learn quickly)</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Strong attention to detail and sense of resourcefulness</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Customer service: warm and welcoming while able to set appropriate limits</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Respectful and open to welcoming different religions, spiritualities, and diverse groups</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ability to understand and embody the ISCM mission</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Experience in guest services, hospitality, reservations, or a similar client-facing role</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Background in sales, booking coordination, or account management is a strong asset</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Studies or qualifications in administration, hospitality management, or a related field considered an asset</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Experience with hotel management systems (Mews-Hotello an asset)</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>
