We also focus our priorities on the unparalleled quality of our food and drink as well as our facilities.</p><p class="text-node"><strong>Our Values</strong>: Our core principles are inspired by the essential values that motivate us:</p><p class="text-node"><strong>G</strong> – Growing Together<br><strong>H</strong> – Hospitality is our priority<br><strong>G</strong> – Guarantee of Excellence<br><strong>C</strong> – Creator of Experiences</p><p class="text-node"><strong>Your daily role</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Perform and/or manage various maintenance and repair tasks (carpentry, plumbing, electricity, painting, masonry, etc.);</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Analyze and solve general maintenance issues related to the building and equipment (fixed machines…);</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Know and apply the hotel's standards;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Respond to various building-related requests;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Participate in budget planning and timelines;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Participate in preventive maintenance programs and inspections of all hotel equipment and rooms;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Continuously monitor all hazardous or suspicious situations that may endanger hotel guests and staff or hotel safety and respond accordingly;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Intervene in industrial mechanics on equipment such as: refrigeration, air conditioning, heating;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Follow up with various service providers in both French and English;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Supervise the team of maintenance technicians and participate in the planning of the department's schedules;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Perform any other related tasks that may be assigned and are necessary for the smooth operation of the hotel.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><strong>The required qualifications for the position:</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Minimum academic training of a vocational diploma (building maintenance mechanics);</p></li><li><p class="text-node">General knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electricity, building mechanics, and HVAC;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Skills in the construction trades;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Be available for flexible hours and emergencies;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Resourceful and creative mindset;</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Responsible, organized, and self-sufficient.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><em>We thank all applicants for their interest in the Grand Château Hotel Group.
