That is why we foster a dynamic and stimulating work environment that supports professional growth.</p> <p>Reporting to the Regional Controller, the Accounting Analyst plays a key role within RIMAP Hospitality’s centralized accounting team. This position contributes to the accuracy of financial information and the smooth operation of accounting processes while working closely with a committed and dynamic team.</p> <h2>WHAT YOU WILL DO</h2> <p>Your main responsibilities will include:</p> <p><strong>Manage reconciliations and account follow-ups:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for hotels and apartment properties;</p> </li> <li> <p>Reconcile balance sheet accounts;</p> </li> <li> <p>Reconcile apartment revenue using the Hopem system;</p> </li> <li> <p>Complete the necessary follow-ups with property managers;</p> </li> <li> <p>Process intercompany recharges between hotels and apartment properties.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Support month-end and year-end processes:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare month-end and year-end journal entries;</p> </li> <li> <p>Record hotel and apartment revenue;</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare financial statements for several hotels before they are reviewed by the Regional Controller;</p> </li> <li> <p>Work with the regional team to maintain the accuracy and reliability of financial information.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Support financial planning and payroll activities:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Participate in the preparation of budgets with members of the regional team;</p> </li> <li> <p>Review and validate payroll information before it is submitted to the payroll processing team;</p> </li> <li> <p>Complete various follow-ups related to financial data and accounting operations;</p> </li> <li> <p>Enter selected accounts payable transactions as required.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Contribute to the efficiency of the accounting team:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with various departments and managers to respond to accounting-related requests;</p> </li> <li> <p>Participate in the improvement of accounting processes and work tools;</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform any other related duties required to support the smooth operation of the accounting department.</p> </li> </ul> <h2>WHAT YOU BRING</h2> <ul> <li> <p>A certificate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent relevant experience;</p> </li> <li> <p>A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting position;</p> </li> <li> <p>Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Power Query and PivotTables;</p> </li> <li> <p>A strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end procedures;</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy;</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge of Sage 300, an asset;</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in the hospitality industry, an asset;</p> </li> <li> <p>The ability to collaborate effectively with a team and various stakeholders.</p> </li> </ul> <h2>ABOUT RIMAP HOSPITALITY</h2> <p>Joining RIMAP Hospitality means becoming part of a growing organization that values collaboration, innovation and excellence.
