Reporting to the Food and Beverage Supervisor, the waiter.tress is responsible for providing quality service to customers in a dining establishment. You will be the main interface between customers and the kitchen, ensuring they have a pleasant and satisfying experience. Here are the main tasks associated with this position:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take orders accurately and provide recommendations if necessary.
  • Serve dishes and beverages efficiently and elegantly.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and resolving any issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and the dining area / restaurant / banquet hall / bar.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the speed and accuracy of orders.
  • Handle payments and transactions accurately.
  • Familiarity with the menu, specials, and modifications to dishes.
  • Adherence to hygiene and food safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and customer orientation.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Previous experience as a server is an asset.
  • Training in customer service or hospitality is appreciated.
  • Adherence to hygiene and food safety rules.
