We are seeking a passionate Valet with a natural talent for hospitality and a passion for providing memorable stays for guests. Driven by the desire to ensure an exceptional experience, you will anticipate guests' needs and demonstrate efficiency even during peak periods. Warm and professional, you will facilitate smooth communication with all services, contributing to the overall success of the team. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Provide high-quality valet service by greeting guests with courtesy and professionalism. 
  • Manage parking areas efficiently and orderly, ensuring optimal use. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the reception area, parking lot, and luggage storage, following established cleaning protocols. 
  • Actively participate in valet tasks, including quickly and securely retrieving and delivering guests' vehicles. 
  • Ensure that necessary service equipment is available and in good condition, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs. 
  • Adhere to current health and safety standards, applying recommended practices to ensure a safe environment. 
  • Collaborate effectively with various hotel departments and external services to ensure smooth coordination. 
  • Provide attentive and personalized service by responding to guests' needs and anticipating their requests. 
  • Assist in schedule management in cooperation with the team leader or reception manager to ensure adequate coverage. 
  • Perform any other tasks necessary to ensure the quality of the guest experience and the smooth operation of the hotel during their stay.

Requirements

  • You have a background in hospitality or significant experience of at least 1-2 years in a similar position.  
  • You hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
  • You have the ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle and maneuver it in tight spaces. 
  • You have an excellent knowledge of the local area and tourist attractions. 
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with a hotel management software, such as Opera (or equivalent). 
  • You have the energy, stamina, and availability for this demanding role, with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 
  • You are bilingual in French and English for effective communication with an international clientele. 
  • You consistently maintain exemplary service standards.
