We are seeking a passionate Technical Maintenance Supervisor committed to ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction. You will plan and oversee maintenance and repair activities within the establishment while conducting regular inspections of the facilities. As the primary point of contact for all technical operations, your keen attention to detail and strong leadership will contribute to maintaining the establishment's high standards of quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting its growth through your proactive and meticulous work.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify potential issues and determine priorities for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Perform necessary repairs adequately and in a timely manner, minimizing impacts on guests and ensuring continuous, high-quality service.
- Coordinate external repairs when a task cannot be handled in-house, taking the necessary measures to ensure work is completed promptly and efficiently.
- Inform the Maintenance Director of any significant issues requiring intervention and propose appropriate action plans to resolve identified problems.
- Supervise the work of the technical maintenance team, ensuring tasks are performed according to the establishment's standards.
- Train technical maintenance staff, providing instructions and ongoing training to enhance the team's skills and performance.
- In the absence of the Maintenance Director, liaise with external companies and order parts or materials.
- Maintain the inventory of parts and materials, reporting to the Maintenance Director on items that need to be replenished.
- Ensure a prompt response and diligent follow-up on intervention requests from guests and the establishment, guaranteeing swift issue resolution.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to the schedule set by management to prevent breakdowns and keep facilities in good condition.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring that standards and rules are strictly adhered to by all staff.
- Collaborate with different departments within the establishment to optimize the guest experience, providing a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.

Requirements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- You have two to three years of experience in building maintenance.
- You have in-depth knowledge of building inspection and basic skills in electricity, plumbing, HVAC, plaster, painting, ceramics, or carpentry (an asset).
- You have the energy, stamina, and availability for this demanding role, with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- You consistently maintain exemplary service standards.
