Job description
As a sous chef, you will have the opportunity to bring your expertise to our 4-diamond restaurant, The Riverain. You will thrive alongside an experienced and dedicated team in a kitchen equipped with high-performance tools.
Job Description:
- Coordinate and participate in meal preparation and service for dinner service, banquets, events, etc.;
- Ensure cleanliness of the kitchens;
- Ensure service and food quality according to the chef's requests;
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff in the absence of the head chef;
- Assist in ensuring compliance with kitchen hygiene and sanitation regulations by all team members;
- Assist in developing new menus, new recipes;
- Perform all other tasks inherent to the role.

Salary: $24.00 to $29.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
- 8 hours
Requirements
Skills we're looking for:
- You have three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar position;
- You know how to lead and mobilize a team;
- You demonstrate creativity and knowledge of local products (an asset);
- You have previous experience in hospitality (an asset).
Education:
- DEP/AEC or Certificate (Preferred)
