Why you matter: Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Accommodation Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the operational activities of reception, reservations, doormen/valet service and housekeeping, in order to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Your responsibilities
1. Supervision and management of operations
- Coordinate arrivals, departures and special guest requests.
- Work closely with frontline teams and housekeeping and all other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Review and validate bookings and invoices for groups and congresses.
- Conduct regular inspection rounds to ensure cleanliness, quality and compliance of spaces.
- Produce and verify the daily reports of the department.
2. Personnel Management
- Coach, motivate and supervise receptionists, janitors, valets, doormen and maintenance workers.
- Participate in the hiring, training, integration and performance evaluation of staff.
- Develop schedules based on traffic and operational needs.
- Apply and enforce Hilton’s policies, procedures and standards.
3. Management of financial and material resources
- Assist management in the preparation and monitoring of the budget.
- Oversee inventory management (equipment, supplies, uniforms).
- Place the necessary orders and control the costs related to the operations.
4. Customer Service
- To ensure a professional and warm welcome, faithful to Hilton’s standards.
- Respond to customer needs with efficiency and empathy.
- Proactively handle complaints or sensitive situations and follow up with clients.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by collecting and analyzing feedback.

- Permanent, full-time position.
- Variable schedule: evenings, weekends and holidays depending on traffic.
- Work can be demanding during busy periods.

Experiment
- 1 to 2 years in a similar position or in the hotel industry (reception, accommodation, supervision). The unionized environment is an asset.

Knowledge
- Hotel management software (e.g., OPERA) is an asset.
