Job description
MC Hall is looking for a motivated and efficient service manager and operations manager to join our experienced event and catering team. Our private reception hall (for groups of 135 people) has a regular clientele and the venue is growing. We are seeking a passionate service manager with proven skills in event coordination and operations management.
Located in the heart of Côte-des-Neiges, employees have access to a creative, stimulating, and rewarding work environment.
The salary is competitive, with attractive tips and a health insurance plan. Full-time position primarily on-site, with occasional remote work.
Job Description:
• Plan events (private, corporate) according to contracts;
• Be the service team leader during events;
• Handle orders for drinks and supplies;
• Ensure continued delivery of an outstanding customer experience;
• Knowledge and application of labor standards and occupational health and safety principles;
Requirements
Desired Profile:
Experience in management in the restaurant and/or event industry;
Experience as a head of service in catering;
Good verbal and written communication - bilingual;Leadership and decision-making skills;
Comfortable with non-routine work;
Availability for atypical working hours;
Knowledge of Veloce, Faro, Excel, Windows is an asset
