About the role:
*Due to local regulations, priority will be given to candidates who are authorized to work in Canada and are fluent in both French and English, spoken and written.
The Night Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations relating to the front office, guest services as well as all other departments that are active over night. This person will ensure that all operations in the hotel are running smoothly during the overnight hours while adhering to Four Seasons’ standards. He/She must demonstrate resourcefulness, leadership and problem-solving skills in order to respond to any type of situation all while maintaining a positive attitude. Furthermore, the Night Manager must have strong organisational and planning skills as well as ensure guest and employee satisfaction.
What you will do:
· Ensure seamless service continuity between day and night shifts.
· Guarantee the safety of guests, staff, and hotel property.
· Handle unexpected situations across departments with professionalism.
· Personally welcome VIP guests with care and attention.
· Apply end-of-day procedures and perform system closures accurately.
· Oversee front desk, concierge, reservations, and other guest service functions.
· Address guest complaints promptly and provide appropriate solutions.
· Maintain an active presence in the lobby to monitor smooth operations.
· Coordinate with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
· Review arrivals and ensure special requests and group needs are met.
· Uphold financial and credit procedures and promote best practices.
· Foster a collaborative, healthy work environment aligned with Four Seasons values.
Requirements
What you bring:
· 3 to 5 years of experience in hotel management, customer service, or a related field
· Post-secondary diploma in hotel management, business administration, or a related field
· Available to work evenings, nights, and weekends, and comfortable with overnight shifts
· Strong communication skills
· Solid computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Lotus Notes, Delphi, and Opera
· Ability to handle stress in a positive and effective manner
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
· Strong team spirit
· Interest in and ability to provide outstanding service to internal and external clients and suppliers
· Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
· Organized, meticulous, and resourceful
