Job description

<p class="text-node"><strong>NIGHT AUDITOR</strong>&nbsp;</p><p class="text-node">The night auditor is responsible for ensuring the safety of the establishment and the guests from 11 PM to 7 AM. Additionally, he or she performs the daily financial close and welcomes guests arriving late in the evening and departing early in the morning.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p class="text-node">Reporting to the <strong>Front Office Manager and Front Desk Supervisor</strong>, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position are:</p><p class="text-node">·&nbsp; Embrace and bring the Manoir concept to life by doing everything possible to provide guests with a quality experience that meets their expectations.</p><p class="text-node">· Process guest check-ins and billing.</p><p class="text-node">· Answer phone calls and emails, book stays, and promote hotel services (restaurant and spa) as well as activities offered in the area; in collaboration with the Concierge.</p><p class="text-node">· Classify transactions carried out during the day.</p><p class="text-node">· Balance accounts and close cash registers at the front desk and various points of sale.</p><p class="text-node">· Prepare the internal deposit.</p><p class="text-node">· Maintain the customer database.</p><p class="text-node">· Produce the daily revenue report.</p><p class="text-node">· Produce and submit auxiliary reports to management.</p><p class="text-node">· Carry out front desk attendant duties during the night.</p><p class="text-node">· Adhere to the hotel’s internal policies, procedures, and standards.</p><p class="text-node">Perform any other related tasks as requested by the supervisor.<br></p>

Requirements

<p class="text-node">· Professional and neat appearance;</p><p class="text-node">· Bilingualism (French, English) for an International clientele;</p><p class="text-node">· College diploma in hospitality or tourism, an asset;&nbsp;</p><p class="text-node">· Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook;&nbsp;</p><p class="text-node">· Certification and training in CPR, an asset;</p><p class="text-node">· Ability to lift loads of 20 kg to assist guests with their luggage, if needed;</p><p class="text-node">- Legally eligible to work in Canada.</p><p class="text-node"><br></p><p class="text-node"><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><p class="text-node">·&nbsp;Ease of communication with guests and colleagues.</p><p class="text-node">·&nbsp;Ability to manage multiple tasks in a constantly changing environment.</p><p class="text-node">·&nbsp;Ability to focus on the needs of the guests, remaining calm and courteous at all times.</p><p class="text-node">·&nbsp;Great autonomy and resourcefulness to handle unexpected situations and/or emergencies.</p>
