Job Description
<p>Discover the role of a Night Auditor, which involves a variety of tasks directly related to accounting and customer service. Precision and coordination with other departments are essential, as the front desk is the central point of the hotel.</p>
Responsibilities
<p>As a Night Auditor, you will perform several frontline tasks:</p>
<p><strong>NIGHT AUDIT</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Classify business transactions carried out during the day.</li>
<li>Verify and correct the recording of transactions and update hotel guests' invoices.</li>
<li>Balance accounts and close the cash registers for various points of sale and the front desk.</li>
<li>Generate and submit daily revenue reports and other administrative reports.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>RESERVATIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Handle complete reservation processes.</li>
<li>Respond to inquiries and requests for reservation modifications.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>GUEST ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Welcome guests upon arrival, verify reservation details, and offer additional services.</li>
<li>Obtain payment guarantees.</li>
<li>Provide useful information about the establishment.</li>
<li>Check guest satisfaction upon departure.</li>
<li>Process guest check-outs.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>CUSTOMER SERVICE</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Promote hotel services, local attractions, and regional activities, and make reservations when needed.</li>
<li>Receive and distribute mail or messages for guests.</li>
<li>Ensure the safety of guests and their belongings.</li>
<li>Respond to guest requests (wake-up calls, room changes, etc.).</li>
<li>Handle guest feedback and complaints and ensure follow-up.</li>
</ul>
Schedule
<ul><li>Night shifts (possibility of day or evening shifts to complete the schedule).</li></ul>
Compensation and Benefits
<ul>
<li>
<strong>Salary:</strong> $28.88 per hour (-10% during the probation period, full salary thereafter) + night shift bonus.</li>
<li>
<strong>Group insurance:</strong> 55% covered by the company.</li>
<li>
<strong>Group RRSP:</strong> Employer contributions with the option to contribute to the FTQ Fund with additional employer contributions.</li>
