Job description
- Preventive Maintenance
- Conduct regular rounds to identify potential technical anomalies.
- Perform preventive maintenance on facilities: heating, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical, etc.
- Follow maintenance schedules for technical equipment.
- Corrective Maintenance
- Diagnose and repair faults in rooms, common areas, or technical installations.
- Respond quickly to reported problems (e.g., leaks, power outages, faulty locks).
- Replace or repair defective equipment (light bulbs, switches, faucets, etc.).
- Monitor Technical Installations
- Collaborate with external service providers during work or technical inspections.
- Verify compliance of technical installations with applicable standards.
- Inventory and Tool Management
- Manage the stock of spare parts and repair materials.
- Maintain an inventory of tools and equipment used for maintenance. -Order necessary supplies in collaboration with the technical manager or management.
-Internal Relations and Guest Service
-Coordinate with reception, room service, and management.
-Intervene discreetly and professionally in occupied rooms.
-Safety and Hygiene
-Comply with safety procedures during interventions.
-Keep technical areas clean and secure.
-Report any risks or incidents to management.
Requirements
- Good command of several areas: electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, air conditioning, etc.
- Knowledge of fire safety standards and hotel technical installations (a plus).
- Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve faults.
- Ability to manage priorities and emergencies.
- Autonomy, thoroughness, organizational skills, and responsiveness.
- Availability to work shifts, weekends, or holidays if necessary.
- Ability to carry heavy loads and work in confined spaces or at heights (depending on the task).
- Experience in multi-service maintenance is preferred.
