Job description
Under the responsibility of the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager plays a crucial role within the sales department and the establishment. The candidate will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, market research and client analysis, as well as cold calling, preparing proposals and contracts, completing weekly sales reports, conducting site tours, as well as, carrying out the Sales and Marketing Plan
Responsibilities
The person will assume the following main responsibilities but without limitation:
- Promote and sell all hotel products and services to current and future customers through telephone solicitations, sales blitzes, site visits, trade shows, etc.
- Solicit and qualify new accounts to increase the existing customer base
- Achieve, or exceed, sales goals with an action plan based on the company's strategies
- Prepare proposals and sales contracts
- If needed follow-up with clients and resolve issues related to the facility's products or services
- Ensuring customer satisfaction during and after service delivery
- Prepare sales reports and activity reports
- Maintain client records
- Any other related tasks
Requirements
- Be organized (ability to manage time and stress well)

- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a high degree of accountability
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to forge deep relationships with current and potential clients
- Requirements
- Bilingual (French and English) both oral and written
- Minimum of five years of experience in a similar position is mandatory
- Knowledge of the hotel industry and conventions
- Perfect knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and sales software is required
- Capable of seizing opportunities to find new customers
- Customer service oriented
- Able to adapt to a diversified clientele
- Offers impeccable service and quality
- Ability to react well to the unexpected
- High level of diplomacy and courtesy
- Be available for inspection visits outside of office hours
- Be available and very flexible in their working hours (day, evening and weekend)
- Own a car and have a valid driver's license.
