Workplace: Place Des Vosges/ 6000 Boul Cavendish, Côte Saint-Luc, QC H4W 2Y2

Status: Full-time

Salary: Starting from 60,000$

Reporting to the Property Manager, the Junior Manager is responsible for providing efficient and accurate administrative support in the building's administrative operations. You will ensure smooth functioning of daily operations and provide excellent service to residents. You will play a key role in the effective management of residential property and resident satisfaction. Your precise administrative support and ability to handle resident inquiries will contribute to maintaining a harmonious and welcoming residential environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Welcome and direct visitors, residents, and suppliers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Conduct visits of rental premises.
  • Manage phone calls, take messages, and relay them to the appropriate parties.
  • Address resident inquiries and resolve common property management issues.
  • Follow up on resident requests and ensure they are handled efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as mail management, drafting correspondence, data entry, and maintaining files.
  • Organize and maintain resident records, including lease agreements, registration forms, and documents related to repairs and claims.
  • Assist in coordinating maintenance activities and repairs with suppliers and contractors.
  • Oversee renovation work for rental spaces.
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external communications, such as meeting notices, newsletters, and resident notices.
  • Assist in budget preparation, expense management, and rent collection.
  • Adhere to company procedures and policies regarding information confidentiality and security.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization.
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to tactfully and diplomatically resolve issues.
  • Good understanding of basic principles of residential property management.
  • Proficiency in common computer tools and software such as spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Discretion and respect for the confidentiality of information.
  • A car for visiting other locations owned by the group is an asset.
