<p class="text-node"><strong>Responsibilities<br>This position is equivalent to a hotel director</strong></p><p class="text-node"><strong>Management and coordination of operations</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Assume responsibility for the deployment, implementation, and continuous optimization of daily operations;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ensure integrated operational coordination between services, community spaces, and living environments to guarantee continuity, fluidity, and consistency of services;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Develop, implement, and maintain structured, measurable, and scalable operational processes, in alignment with strategic directions and the cultural realities of the served individuals;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ensure optimal, safe, and sustainable use of infrastructure, equipment, and technological tools;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Maintain a strong on-the-ground presence, including direct supervision, support for teams, and proactive interventions to prevent operational issues;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ensure operational alignment with internal support services (finance, social services, infrastructure) to effectively resolve cross-cutting issues;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Be accountable for maintaining high standards in occupational health and safety (OHS), including risk prevention, policy implementation, incident management, and promoting a healthy and safe environment.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><strong>Quality of experience and cultural safety</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Assume responsibility for the overall quality of the experience of patients, companions, and visitors, according to principles of respect, dignity, and cultural safety;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ensure consistency and humanization of the welcome, stay, and departure process;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Support teams and intervene in a structured manner in sensitive or complex situations, in collaboration with the relevant partners;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Deploy mechanisms for continuous evaluation of experience and satisfaction, to inform practice improvement.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><strong>Partnership with the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB)</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Establish and maintain a formalized, continuous, and proactive collaboration with the CBHSSJB for the support provided to their patients and companions;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ensure smooth operational coordination of accommodation services and living environments according to identified clinical, cultural, and human needs;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Participate in consultation mechanisms, adjustment of practices, and problem-solving, within a logic of complementarity and respect for roles;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Contribute to the evolution of service offerings, ensuring they remain consistent with recognized protocols, expectations, and principles of cultural safety.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><strong>Integration of social mission and insertion pathways</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Assume accountability for the structured and functional integration of training and insertion pathways, in collaboration with the citizenship mobilization and employability team;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Implement operational conditions that reconcile service requirements, real-world learning, and employability objectives;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Deploy and maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of practices to enhance social impact and service sustainability.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><strong>Representation and organizational alignment</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Represent the service to community, institutional partners, and the health network;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Contribute to the visibility and positioning of the service as a structuring initiative in social economy;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ensure constant alignment of operations with the mission, values, and strategic directions of the CAAVD.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>

Requirements

<p class="text-node"><strong>Profile – Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Education in management, administration, hospitality, community intervention, or a related field;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex operations or services;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Significant experience in Indigenous contexts, in intercultural situations, or with Indigenous and/or vulnerable populations (mandatory);</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Good knowledge of the realities, contemporary issues, and cultural safety principles of First Peoples;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Experience collaborating with the health network, ideally in Indigenous contexts (important asset);</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Proficient in common computer tools (Office Suite and operational tools).</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><strong>Profile – Skills&nbsp;</strong></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Mobilizing leadership based on respect, listening, and recognition of Indigenous knowledge and realities;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Demonstrated ability to concretely operationalize cultural safety in practices and processes;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Judgment, emotional stability, and capacity for intervention in culturally and humanly sensitive contexts;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Rigor, high sense of responsibility, and excellent organizational skills;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ability to work in intercultural partnerships and navigate multi-actor environments;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Ethical sense, cultural humility, and reflective stance;</p></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Autonomy, initiative, and continuous improvement orientation.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>
