<p class="text-node">The Quartier Hotel in Quebec is seeking a Housekeeper to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations of the hotel with the aim of providing an excellent comfort experience for guests.</p><p class="text-node"><strong>Main Responsibilities: </strong>As a Housekeeper, you are responsible for supervising all housekeeping activities to ensure an excellent experience as both a guest and a team member. A head housekeeper / housekeeping manager will also be required to assess guest satisfaction and set service goals and objectives. More specifically, you will be responsible for executing the following tasks to the highest standards:</p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Supervise housekeeping operations (cleaning of guest rooms and common areas)</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Supervise laundry operations</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Recruit, manage, train, and develop the housekeeping team</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Evaluate guest satisfaction levels and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvement</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain effective inventory control (linens, towels, cleaning supplies, and breakfast food)</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Set service targets and objectives, work schedules, and policies/methods</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the housekeeping and laundry team with an emphasis on training and teamwork.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure team members have up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain good communication and working relationships throughout all hotel areas and with external clients and suppliers.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure ongoing training of the team</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure communication meetings are organized and meeting minutes are generated</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Manage staff performance issues in accordance with company policies and procedures</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Regularly inspect all fixtures, fittings, and appliances to ensure compliance with standards and take necessary actions to conform to the standard.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Assist other departments as needed</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Other related tasks</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>
