Why you matter: Reporting to the Director of Reception and Guest Experience, you will be the first link between our guests and their memorable experience. You will ensure the fluidity of reception operations while supporting and mobilizing your team to offer exceptional service, up to Hilton standards.
Your responsibilities
Operations Supervision
- Coordinate guest arrivals, departures and special requests
- Collaborate closely with housekeeping and all other departments
- Manage bookings, overflows, and ensure the fluidity of operations
- Review customer accounts, cash reports, and ensure balances at the beginning/end of the shift
Team coaching
- Supporting your leadership
- Participate in training, performance evaluation, and schedule management
- Enforce and enforce internal policies and Hilton standards
- Be present on the floor and provide support during critical periods
Resource Management
- Track inventories and ensure the availability of necessary materials
- Participate in budget monitoring and cost control
- Place orders and manage supplies related to receiving
Customer Service
- Respond to requests or complaints with diplomacy and efficiency
- Ensure consistent quality of service
- Actively promote the Hilton Honors program
- Be a model of hospitality and contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements
Desired profile
Formation
- Training in hotel management, tourism or related field
Experiment
- 1 to 2 years in a similar position (receptionist or supervisor)
- Experience with high-end customers: an asset
Key Competencies
- Positive leadership, sense of organization and service
- Ability to manage stress and make decisions
- Administrative rigour and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in French and English
- Mastery of Opera or similar reception software: asset
Personal qualities
- Enthusiasm and professionalism
- Tolerance to pressure and variable schedules
