Job description

<p class="text-node"><strong>The Sacrée Soirée Group</strong> is offering a position as a <strong>receptionist</strong> <strong>in a corporate environment</strong>, within a company in the financial sector.</p><p class="text-node"></p><p class="text-node"><strong>🟡 Start Date</strong>: Monday, August 3, 2026</p><p class="text-node"><strong>🟡 Location</strong>: Downtown Montreal, near Bonaventure Metro (orange line)</p><p class="text-node"><strong>🟡 Job Type</strong>: Part-time (20 hours/week)</p><p class="text-node"><strong>🟡 Work Schedule</strong>: Monday to Friday, from 1 PM to 5 PM</p><p class="text-node"><strong>🟡 Compensation</strong>: to be determined based on experience (starting at $21/hour)</p><p class="text-node"></p><p class="text-node">The receptionist welcomes visitors and colleagues to the company, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate meeting/conference rooms as needed. The employee ensures to <strong>best meet the visitors' needs</strong>, while applying behaviors that foster <strong>a warm reception and customer service</strong>.</p><p class="text-node"></p><p class="text-node"><strong>🟡 Tasks and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p class="text-node"><u>Visitor Reception:</u></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Check the calendar to anticipate visitor arrivals for the day,</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Register unlisted visitors,</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Guide them to the cloakroom and offer a beverage (coffee, tea, water…),</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Manage wifi access,</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure the reception area is clean.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><u>Email and Call Management:</u></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Receive emails regarding meetings and participants - follow up and necessary recordings,</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Manage and send <em>Visitor Forms</em>,</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Respond to various requests in English or French.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><u>Meeting Room Reservation Control:</u></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Use the necessary IT tools for this: Teams, Calendar, etc., and perform necessary backups.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>

Requirements

<p class="text-node"><strong>The receptionist</strong> will cover afternoon shifts to ensure continuity with the morning employee during their lunch break and end of day.
