The Sales & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in the visibility and commercial success of the hotel. Acting as a vital link between the sales, marketing, and operations teams, this person ensures smooth communication, excellent client follow-up, and consistent brand representation.

By supporting both sales initiatives and marketing campaigns, this role directly contributes to achieving revenue goals, guest satisfaction, and positioning the Vogue Hotel Montreal Downtown as a leading name in the luxury hospitality market.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support

·                  Receive, qualify, and assign incoming sales inquiries.

·                  Handle overflow calls for the Banquet Sales, Conference Services, Marketing, and Executive Office departments.

·                  Distributed sales leads received from various lead-generation sources.

·                  Prepare accurate proposals and contracts.

·                  Respond to client correspondence and provide administrative support to the sales team as needed.

·                  Assist with various administrative and support tasks related to sales and marketing.

·                  Provide coverage for sales and marketing colleagues during absences.

·                  Attend departmental and administrative meetings as required.

·                  Create room blocks for group requests.

·                  Record and submit the monthly sales inventory report to the Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM).

·                  Conduct site visits with potential clients as needed.

·                  Prepare monthly sales reports (individual and group).

Marketing Support

·                  Respond to marketing-related inquiries (emails, collaborations, influencers, public relations, etc.).

·                  Draft, schedule, and publish social media content (copy, visuals, LinkedIn, Canva).

·                  Participate in planning and coordinating photo shoots, video sessions, and influencer stays.

·                  Collaborate on seasonal campaigns, offers, and marketing activations.

·                  Coordinate with vendors, partners, and external agencies.

·                  Maintain up-to-date marketing documents, templates, and resources.

·                  Support the preparation of presentations, proposals, and sales materials.

·                  Manage logistics for marketing materials (orders, printing, distribution). 


Work Schedule

·                  Flexibility required during events.

·                  Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.

·                  Permanent, full-time position.

 

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

·        Education: Diploma in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or Event Management.

·        Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (sales coordination, hotel marketing, events, administration, reservations, or front office).

·        Languages: Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.

·        Computer Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Knowledge of Opera and Delphi systems, as well as platforms like CVENT (an asset).
    • Proficiency in Canva.
    • Familiarity with social media management and scheduling tools (LinkedIn and Instagram).

·        Organization and Accuracy: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.

·        Communication: Excellent interpersonal and writing skills, with a professional and collaborative approach toward clients and colleagues.

·        Creativity: Creative mindset and strong eye for detail when developing marketing content or proposals.

·        Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, banquet, and leadership teams.

·        Autonomy and Proactivity: Ability to take initiative and work independently while maintaining clear communication with supervisors.
