Job description

Cook – Full-Time (34 hours/week over 4 days)


Work Location: Montreal, QC – accessible by public transit

Desired Start Date: Starting May 4, 2026

Contract Duration: Until mid-October 2026


Our establishment located in Montreal is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and dynamic Versatile Cook to join our kitchen team.


We offer a full-time position scheduled over 4 days per week, ideal for professionals seeking job stability and a healthy work-life balance.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare food and complete mise en place according to established standards

  • Ensure cooking and plating of dishes during service

  • Work at various kitchen stations based on operational needs

  • Maintain quality, presentation, and consistency of all plates

  • Keep the work environment clean, organized, and safe

  • Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (MAPAQ)

  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service teams

  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries


Offered Conditions

  • Full-time position: 34 hours per week

  • Schedule over 4 days

  • Work schedule provided every 2 weeks (mainly afternoons/evenings)

  • $25 / hour

Requirements

Ideal Profile

  • Relevant experience in a professional kitchen

  • Versatility, ability to work quickly, and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Team spirit and a positive attitude

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Knowledge of MAPAQ standards (holding the certificate is considered an asset)

  • Must agree to a background check (mandatory)
