Job description
As the Restaurant Operations Manager of the Hotel Horizon, Sutton, you are responsible for coordinating the teams and ensuring the smooth running of activities to guarantee a high-quality guest experience and compliance with the establishment’s standards.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the restaurant.
- Design the menu and develop dishes while ensuring the quality of the cuisine.
- Manage group bookings: reception, greeting, and dining services.
- Build customer loyalty throughout the establishment.
- Take part in the daily operations of the restaurant (front of house and/or kitchen).
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards (MAPAQ certification required).
- Manage the supply of food and beverages.
- Oversee inventory, orders, and requests for proposals with new suppliers.
- Monitor inventory, margins, and the pre-established budget.
- Ensure invoice follow-up.
- Participate in budget planning.
- Ensure optimal use of facilities and maximize their profitability.
- Guarantee the continuity of the defined concept and compliance with Huttopia standards.
- Take part in promoting the establishment.

Work
Schedule: Full-time, day and evening shifts, weekends required

Annual salary: depending on experience + tips
Requirements
- Ability to motivate a team and take initiative.
- Must be thorough, responsive, and available during peak periods.
- 3-5 years’ experience.
- Experience in banquet service preferred.
