Job description
The Chef takes control of the hot and oversees the cold station, and feeds all stations with merchandise needed for preparations.
In charge of preparation of soups, vinaigrettes, sauces and cooking during service, the cook makes sure to stock properly these preparations.
The cook also prepares hot or cold dishes according to Delmo's unique methods of cooking for fish, seafood, meat, etc.
The Chef also receives merchandise which he stores and cleans the station at the end of service.
The cook also prepares vegetables, pasta, rice, purées, and all sauces and gravy
Everything must be done in accordance with high hygiene standards and rigorous presentation.
We ask for flexibility with regards to schedule. We are looking mostly for nights, Monday to Saturday.
Requirements
- Certificate in hygiene et salubrity (HACCCP)
- Minimum one year successful experience in a restaurant
- Capacity to reproduce a recipe with precision
- Enthusiasm, motivation, adaptability
