Salary: $50,000 per year

Reporting to the Housekeeper, the Housekeeper Assistant is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff and laundry operations. They coordinate the activities within their department and ensure the quality of customer service.

Task description:

• Inspect the condition of rooms, public areas, and ensure that cleaning standards are met.
• Manage the resources of their department efficiently.
• Assist in creating staff schedules and training new employees.
• Support department staff in their learning process.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Skills:

• DEC in hotel management or one year of experience in a supervisory housekeeping role.
• Proficiency in computer use and knowledge of hotel management software (an asset).
• Fluent in both French and English, spoken and written, with knowledge of a third language (an asset).
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
• Flexible schedule – availability for days, evenings, and weekends.

Languages: Fluency in French (spoken, written, and read) as well as a minimum of spoken English are required for this position as we serve an international clients.
