We are currently seeking an Assistant Technical Maintenance Manager who has a positive leadership style, strong ability to work under pressure, and a developed sense of urgency.

Your daily role
Actively participate in the execution of various maintenance and repair tasks (carpentry, plumbing, electricity, painting, masonry, etc.) while supervising and coordinating the employees performing these tasks;
Analyze and solve issues related to general building maintenance and equipment (fixed machines…);
Know and apply the hotel standards;
Respond to various requests related to the building;
Participate in budget planning and timelines;
Participate in preventive maintenance programs and hotel inspections of all equipment and rooms;
Constantly monitor all hazardous or suspicious situations that may endanger hotel guests, colleagues, or hotel safety and respond accordingly;
Intervene in industrial mechanics on equipment such as: refrigeration, air conditioning, heating;
Follow up with various service providers in French and English;
Supervise the maintenance technician team and participate in scheduling for the department;
Perform any other related tasks that may be assigned and are necessary for the proper functioning of the hotel.
Requirements
Minimum academic training of a vocational diploma (maintenance mechanics);
General knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electricity, building mechanics, and HVAC;
Skills in construction trades;
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position;
Must be available for flexible schedules and in emergencies;
Resourceful and creative mindset;
Responsible, organized, and autonomous.

Formation académique minimale de DEP professionnel (mécanique de maintenance) ;
Connaissances générales en menuiserie, plomberie, électricité, mécanique du bâtiment et HVAC ;
Habiletés dans les métiers de la construction ;
Expérience minimale de trois (3) ans dans un poste similaire ;
Être disponible sur des horaires flexibles et en cas d'urgence ;
Esprit débrouillard et créatif ;
Responsable, organisé et autonome.
