<p class="text-node">Located in the heart of Old Quebec, the Clarendon Hotel is an iconic establishment renowned worldwide for its historical charm, elegance, and exceptional service quality.</p><p class="text-node">YOUR ROLE<br>Under the supervision of the Reception Manager, you contribute to the daily management of operations and play a key role in the customer experience as well as the continuous training of the team.</p><p class="text-node">RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Supervise reception operations</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Continuously enhance the customer experience</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Manage delicate situations and complaints</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Train, mentor, and engage the team</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Fill in for reception staff as needed</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Substitute for the Manager in her absence.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure the smooth running of various reception tasks.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">All other tasks related to this position.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>

Requirements

<p class="text-node">DESIRED PROFILE</p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Have an aptitude for customer service, a polished appearance, and be friendly.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Have good stress management skills and a sense of priorities.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Have good sales skills and be able to work in a team.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Master French and English both orally and in writing (any other languages are an asset).</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Experience in hospitality (2-3 years in supervision)</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Know how to operate a cash register and a point-of-sale terminal (POS).</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Know how to use a PMS booking software (Opera is an asset).</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Demonstrate honesty, discretion, and the ability to manage confidential information</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Leadership and decision-making ability</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Available evenings and weekends.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>
