<h1>Role and Mission</h1>
<p>Reporting to the <strong>Front Office leadership team</strong>, the <strong>Assistant Front Office Manager</strong> plays a key role in the daily operations of the Front Office.</p>
<p>This role supports leadership in supervising the reception teams, ensures compliance with Marriott standards, and contributes to delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining the smooth execution of daily operations.</p>
<h1>Key Responsibilities</h1>
<h2>Operational Supervision</h2>
<p>• Ensure the smooth daily operation of the Front Office<br>
• Support leadership in managing operations across both hotels<br>
• Quickly intervene in operational situations or guest concerns<br>
• Ensure compliance with Marriott procedures, standards, and policies<br>
• Conduct inspection rounds to ensure service quality</p>
<h2>Team Leadership and Engagement</h2>
<p>• Assist leadership in supervising and coordinating Front Office teams<br>
• Participate in training and onboarding new team members<br>
• Communicate priorities, expectations, and operational updates to staff<br>
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment<br>
• Act as a resource person for employees during shifts</p>
<h2>Guest Experience and Service Quality</h2>
<p>• Ensure personalized service aligned with Marriott service standards<br>
• Handle guest situations and support the team in resolving issues<br>
• Review guest feedback and contribute to service improvements<br>
• Collaborate closely with other departments (Housekeeping, Sales, F&B, Operations)</p>
<h2>Administrative and Organizational Support</h2>
<p>• Assist in scheduling according to operational needs<br>
• Support administrative tasks related to Front Office operations<br>
• Maintain strict control of keys, billing procedures, and security processes<br>
• Contribute to monitoring departmental performance indicators</p>
<h1>Profile We Are Looking For</h1>
<h2>Education and Experience</h2>
<p>• Diploma or degree in <strong>Hotel Management, Tourism, Administration</strong>, or a related field<br>
• Experience working in a structured hotel environment<br>
• Knowledge of hotel systems (PMS, reservation systems)</p>
<h2>Professional Experience</h2>
<p>• Experience in <strong>Front Office operations or hotel supervision</strong><br>
• Experience in a <strong>high-volume environment</strong> (an asset)<br>
• Experience within an <strong>international hotel chain (Marriott an asset)</strong></p>
<h2>Skills and Qualifications</h2>
<p>• Strong leadership presence and operational involvement<br>
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills<br>
• Strong focus on <strong>guest service and guest experience</strong><br>
• Excellent command of <strong>French and English</strong>, both spoken and written</p>
